  Divemaster Program

Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. In this program you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.

During the PADI Divemaster program, you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organise and solve problems as well as help others improve their diving skills. You put this knowledge into action through a structured internship or series of practical training exercises.

Prerequisites
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess a PADI Rescue Diver certification or equivalent
  • Be trained for first aid and CPR within the previous two years (Ask your instructor about Emergency First Response CPR and first aid courses)
  • At least twenty (20) logged dives to begin the course and sixty (60) for certification
  • Possess own basic scuba equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, BCD, regulator, wetsuit) including dive computer, compass, knife and at least one audible emergency surface signaling device (whistle, air horn etc.).
If equipment is required, we can provide assistance in equipment purchase at discounted prices.

Detailed Course Structure

Dive Theory
PADI eLearning®
Freestyle Divers uses the benefits of PADI eLearning® to teach the theory elements of its' Divemaster program.

What does it cover?
The PADI Dive Theory Online content is broken down into 6 easy to learn sections, covering Physics, Physiology, Equipment, The Recreational Dive Planner, The Diving Environment and Dive Skills.

How does it work?
After enrolling, PADI's eLearning® system presents you with interactive presentations that include videos, audio, graphics and reading. What does it cost?
The course fee for PADI Dive Theory Online is c.SGD150 and is non-refundable.

How long do you have to complete the PADI eLearning® course?
The eLearning course will be available for one year from the time of course registration.
