Junior Advanced Open Water Program

This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving. If you only have time for 3 dives you can complete the Adventure Diver course, later adding 2 more dives to upgrade to the full Junior Advanced Open Water diver course.

		Of the 5 dives in the full PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course, one will be the Underwater Navigation dive and another the Deep dive (up to 21 metres). You and your instructor will choose the other 3 from 15 different Adventure Dives. You might try your hand at digital underwater photography, wreck diving, night diving or peak performance buoyancy. What's more each dive in the PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver course.

Why should I gain certification as a PADI Junior Advanced Open Water? After your five dives and theory lessons, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you'll better understand the underwater environment and the gear and equipment required for safe diving practices. For most people after completing their Junior Open Water Certification, this is the natural progression on the road to furthering their diving career.

Prerequisites At least 12 years of age Possess a PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
Special Requirements To ensure the safety of each Junior Advanced Open Water Diver the following differences to the Adult Advanced Open Water Diver Course are to be observed by the PADI Advanced Open Water Instructor, Junior Advanced Open Water Diver and their parent / guardian: The maximum student to PADI Instructor ratio will not exceed 4:1 After certification dives must be with a parent/guardian or PADI professional On completion of this exciting course, you will be allowed to dive to a depth of 21 metres.
Detailed Course Structure Adventure Dives This certification requires that you complete 5 Adventure Dives in total including the Deep Diver and Underwater Navigator dives plus any 3 of the following:

You and your instructor will chose the most appropriate Adventure Dives for your chosen dive location and personal interests.

Program Schedule The Adventure Dives will take place at a suitable open water training site (either in Singapore, Malaysia or even further overseas!). The options available will be discussed with your PADI Instructor upon commencement of the course.

Course Cost The course will be offered at a price of SGD 350 and is inclusive of all items mentioned above. Course price does not include dive trip for the Adventure Dives.
